Castle Crimea

Stage Info

In Path of Radiance Castle Crimea is captured early on on the game during the invasion of Crimea by the Daein forces. During the attack on Castle Crimea the Daein army made an attempt to kill all of the members of the Crimean nobility, to destroy any possibility of Crimea's citizens uprising back against Daein under lead of their nobility.

The garden and front entrance of Castle Crimea were the location of the final battle of Path of Radiance. Ike lead the liberation force through the front gates of the Castle while Ashnard lead his forces from near the Castle's front wall. Eventually Ashnard was defeated and the Castle, along with the rest of Crimea, was liberated.

Stage Layout

The stage is set in the exact same area where Ike and his troop encountered Mad King Ashnard, and then moved on to defeat him and the last of his forces: the garden. Two mid-length platforms float about three and a half Ganondorfs away from the edges of the stage, and one slightly longer one set in the middle of the stage. The main ground, a long, stone walkway, is completely flat. In the background you can see a small skirmish going on between a few Crimean paladins and Daein generals. Every time player 1 or 3 gets a KO, or the first and third teams if its a team match, a Daein general will be defeated, and every time player 2 or 4 gets a KO, or the second and fourth teams if its a team match, a Crimean paladin will be defeated. In front of the skirmish, though still in the background, is the main decoration of the stage: a large, Crimean-myth embossed fountain. Scattered around the fountain are several small bushes, some with flowers, some without.
