Stage Info[]

Dalaran (aka Dalaran City) is a magocratic city-state and was once located within the Alterac Mountains in the Eastern Kingdoms. This was one of several kingdoms that emerged as the Empire of Arathor declined. Its leaders rule the single city. Recently, the city, including the Violet Citadel, was somehow moved to its current location floating above the Crystalsong Forest in Northrend — close to the border with Icecrown. Ruled by the Kirin Tor, Dalaran is one of the original seven kingdoms originating from the days of the Nation of Arathor. From the time of its foundation until the time of Arthas' siege against the city and subsequent destruction, the Violet Citadel had served as the focal point for magi and the study of the arcane throughout human history. The kingdom's national color is violet and its flag is a yellow, possibly golden, eye set against a light purple background.

Stage Layout[]

The stage is relatively flat with minor slanting slopes towards the center. The floor of the stage stretches to the K.O. borders and is about the length of Brawl's Final Destination stage. In the background, the center square in the city can be seen, on the left The Silver Enclave can be seen, and on the right is Sunraver's Sanctuary. In the foreground is the entrance to The Violet Hold.

Stage Hazards[]

Dalran Visitors: Several different Dalaran visitors will always be visiting the city, one at a time in most cases, and will walk across the stage. These visitors include NPCs such as Violetta, Narestel Palestar, Danric the Bold, Sorrow, Juwanamana, Great Hexer Ohodo, and others. If a player attacks one they'll warn them not to attack again, but if the player keep attacking them they'll eventually attack back causing medium to heavy damage and knockback. If the player persisently attacks visitors of the same faction, Alliance or Horde, then NPCs from that faction will attack that player on sight for the duration of the match. To get them to stop attacking, simply attack visitors of the opposite faction.
